I was born and grew up in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, The People's Republic of China. As an undergraduate student in Peking University (Beijing University), I worked in Prof. Jian Pei's research group on organic conjugated materials. During the summer of 2004 I worked for Procter and Gamble, focusing on the development of oral care products.
In my spare time I like to read classics of ancient China and others from all over the world. My favorite novels are Dream of the Red Chamber and A La Recherché Du Temps Perdu. I'm also a big sports fan, especially crazy about volleyball. I played in Peking University men's team as a main middle blocker. Santa Monica's beautiful beach will be a fantastic place for me to play beach volleyball.
