More about Alex

I was born into the world's most polluted city, Chelyabinsk, Russia, immigrating to the United States in 1981 as a child. My family settled in the San Francisco Bay Area where I remained until the onset of my college education. The University of California at Riverside was where I received my bachelor of science degree in physics and performed independent research in the area of nonlinear quantum mechanics. With regard to personal interests, I spend my time running relentlessly, starting artwork I never finish, reading old novels written by authors more depressed than I am and missing the bay with its fog, overcast, and good Chinese food.
